Dr. Eric Marshall Gordon's Obituary
Dr. Eric Marshall Gordon passed away May 31st, 2026. He lived his life with a Jewish heart, devoted to his family, friends, Synagogue, and community.
In Michigan, he was past president of Congregation Beth Achim and on the board of many organizations such as Magen David Adom, Yeshivat Akiva, and the Holocaust Memorial Center. In addition, he was one of the founders for the Campus of Jewish Living.
In Florida, he was a major donor to the Boca Raton Synagogue Holocaust Garden and Memorial and was instrumental in the growth and rejuvenation of Anshei Emuna Congregation.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sarah (Halpern) Gordon; his children, Jason Samuel Gordon, Dr. Sharon Lisa Ferber (Dr. Brian Adam Ferber), Dr. Elizabeth Miriam Gordon, and David Lee Gordon; and seven grandsons, Joseph Ariel Gordon, Eli Meir Gordon, Gabriel Chaim Gordon, Aaron Eliezer Ferber, Benjamin David Ferber, Evan Tzvi Ferber, and Alexander Aviv Ferber.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at
Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Road Boynton Beach, FL 33437.
Burial will follow at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens Cemetery,
11520 State Roaad 7 Boynton Beach, FL 33473.
