Felicia Littman's Obituary
Felicia Schwartz Littman z’l (Fruma bat Miriam v’Avrom) of Ellicott City, MD, and Boca Raton, FL, passed away quietly on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024. She was born in Queens, NY, on October 10th, 1957. Felicia is survived by her children, Francesca Littman (Ariel Goldberg) and Harris Littman, and was a proud grandmother to her beloved granddaughter, Hila Maayan. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Larry Littman z’l, and her parents, Muriel z’l and Abraham Schwartz z’l.
In addition, she was a devoted sister to Nina Rohan (Jim) and sister-in-law to Diane Goldstein (Martin, z’l). She was a loving aunt to Allison Winoker (Chagai), Robin Schwartz (Robert), and Elizabeth Safier (Jereme).
Felicia was born in Queens and earned a master’s degree in occupational therapy. After marrying Larry, they moved to Florida, where she began her career. Felicia found her true home in Florida, balancing her career with motherhood. She was dedicated to both her children and her aging parents, seamlessly transitioning between both roles. Motherhood was Felicia’s life’s work, and she was a tireless advocate for her children, especially Harris. In later years, she became Harris’s full-time caretaker, devoting herself to his well-being.
Felicia was also a compassionate mentor to many in the neurodiverse community. She was driven by love, a deep sense of justice, and a firm belief that everyone should have the tools to achieve their best selves. Her greatest joy in recent years was spending time with her beloved granddaughter, Hila Maayan.
A graveside service will be held at 10am on Tuesday October 22, 2024, at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 11520 State Road 7 Boynton Beach, FL 33473.
