Frances H Taffel's Obituary
Frances Taffel passed away peacefully at the age of 98 surrounded by the love of her family and friends and the many memories she created throughout a long and beautiful life.
Frances was a woman of strength, warmth, humor, and joy. She loved birds, plants, and flowers, puzzles and most of all - people. She found so much joy in the world around her. She lived through nearly a century of history and remained a source of love, wisdom, and laughs to those around her. Whether through her stories, her advice, or simply the way she made people feel welcome in her presence, she created a legacy that will continue for generations.
She was preceded in death by her husband Irving and her children Bonnie and Alan, whom she loved deeply and carried in her heart always. Though she endured tremendous loss throughout her life, she remained resilient and met every day with a smile, despite the circumstances. She was truly inspiring.
She is survived by her two grandchildren, Emily Taffel-Cohen and Jamison Taffel, six great-grandchildren and her best friends who were her chosen family. They will all forever cherish the memories, laughter, and love she shared with them. Her family and friends were her greatest joy, and nothing made her happier than seeing those she loved gathered together. Her strength lives on in them all.
A funeral service celebrating Frances's life will be held on May 4 at 10:45am.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
