Francine Jaffe's Obituary
Francine Doris Jaffe, 77 passed away peacefully November 23rd. Francine was born March 26th 1942 in Keene New Hampshire to Edith & Nathan Cohn. She met the love of her life Mitchell Jaffe on a blind date while attending Lasell university in Newton Massachusetts. Although Mitchell played the field he fell in love with Francine and they eventually married on October 11, 1964. They loved traveling & spending time with friends & always looked forward to expanding their family.
They adopted their son Michael in 1969 and daughter Charlene in 1972. Now, their family was complete. While Mitchell was running the family business “Quality Graphics” Francine stayed home & was a devoted & loving mother. Francine and Mitchell gave their children wonderful lives and they were always surrounded by love and support. Fran and Mitchell were fortunate enough once the kids were older to have a home in Adventura as well as their home in Framingham. In 1991, Francine and Mitchell decided to purchase a home in the Polo club of Boca Raton and she became a full-time resident while Mitchell continued to travel back-and-forth for work. Fran couldn’t have been more proud of kids and the family was all finally living in Florida.
When Charlene married her husband Jared Lemons in 1998 Francine welcomed him with open arms and he became her second son whom she loved dearly. She always enjoyed their phone calls and he had a way of always making her laugh. When her daughter Jules was born in 2002 Fran couldn’t have been more excited to finally be a Grammy. She loved having Sharlene and Jules come visit Florida to show her off. When Payton was born in 2005 her heart was complete. She looked so forward to the holidays and every summer they would come stay with her for a month. “GRAMMY” was definitely the name she loved being called the most!!! If you asked her she would tell you they “hung the moon”
Francine was the most loyal, selfless, loving and beautiful woman and to know her was to love her. She will be missed by so many yet we will all hold her memory close to our hearts.
