Frank Robbins' Obituary
Robbins, Frank age 94 of Boynton Beach, passed away June 20, 2020; Frank’s earliest reflections on life was listening to Yiddish stories from his mother and grandmother, which accompanied his Yiddish learning curve at an early age. Frank graduated from Grover Cleveland High School, Caldwell, NJ, on 04 June 1943. Frank entered the service of the USA on 18 May 1944, as a Signalman Third Class, US Navy. He received his Honorable Discharge on 09 March 1946. Records reflect Frank entered the University of Miami (Coral Gables, FL) Law School on 13 February 1950, and graduated with an LL.B. Degree on 09 June 1952. Frank served successfully in the Judge Advocate General Office at Vandenberg AFB, CA, until his retirement as a Colonel, on 10 October 1979, after which time he was assigned to USAF Reserve Retired status. Frank continued working as an Attorney for the Department of Veteran Affairs, until retirement in or about 1995. Frank was a devoted son, and survived his mother, Evelyn Bloom Robbins (Jankowitz). Frank is survived by his cousin David (Neely) Zerman. Frank made lifelong friends while in the service of the USA, in college, law school, and as an attorney working for the US Government. He led a life full of mirth, merriment and travel. He will be missed by all lives he had touched, influenced and provided cheers on a daily basis. Baruch Dayan Ha’emet. I will miss you Coach!!
