Frank Rosenfeld's Obituary
Frank Rosenfeld, 87, died October 21, 2016 at his home with his wife by his side in Boca Raton, FL.
A memorial service is planned at Boca Raton Cemetery and Mausoleum for Monday, October 24, 2016.
Frank was born on November 16, 1928 in New York City, NY to Shirley and Max Rosenfeld. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William and Mary in 1950 where he and his twin brother were members of the track team. He would fondly recount his experiences participating in the 100 yard dash, 200 yard dash and the broad jump. After graduating from William and Mary, Frank served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. In addition, he retired from the United States Naval Air Systems Command as a cost analyst in 1986.
He married Paula Stark in 1986 and they lived in Bethesda, MD for 11 years. They moved to Boca Raton, FL in 1997.
Mr. Rosenfeld is survived by his wife, Paula Stark, of the home; his brother, Albert Rosenfeld, of Virginia Beach, VA; his son, Greg Rosenfeld and his spouse, Priscilla, of Jenks, OK; his daughter, Karen Rosenfeld-Dean and her spouse, Bill Dean, of Frederick, MD, and 5 grandchildren: Matthew Rosenfeld of Denver, CO; Lindsay Rosenfeld of Berkeley, CA; Taylor Rosenfeld of Los Angeles, CA; Robert Dean of Sykesville, MD and Sarah Dean of College Park, MD.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the charitable organization of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 5808 W. Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33484.
