In Loving Memory of Fred Spiegel
Fred Spiegel, much loved husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather passed away peacefully on August 5th, 2025, after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family.
Fred was the devoted husband of Ruth, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, resilience and partnership. He was a proud and caring father to Stephen and Heather and a supportive father-in-law to Keka and Eric. His greatest joy came from his grandchildren Sydney, Gwyneth and Sebastian – who brought light, laughter and immense pride to his life.
Fred lived with quiet strength and boundless curiosity. He was an avid boater who found peace on the water, a passionate photographer with a keen eye for beauty and an enthusiastic scuba diver who loved exploring and photographing the world beneath the surface. His sense of adventure was matched by his deep love for family and his enduring kindness to others.
He faced years of illness with dignity and grace, never losing his warmth, humor or spirit. He leaves a legacy of love, strength and joyful exploration that will be forever cherished.
A funeral service will be held to honor Fred’s life on Sunday August 10th, 2025, at 12:15 PM at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Road, Boynton Beach Florida 33437.
