Gary Steven Redish's Obituary
Gary Steven Redish, 77, of Boynton Beach, FL, and Montville, NJ, died Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Trustbridge Hospice By The Sea in Boca Raton, FL. He is survived by his wife Sheryl of 49 1/2 years; his daughter Lauren Goldstein and her husband Michael; and two grandchildren, Carly and Gabby.
Gary graduated from Clifton High School in 1967, University of Connecticut in 1971, and Rutgers University in 1972 with a Masters in Urban Planning. He then achieved his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School in 1975. He worked for most of his career in Hackensack, NJ, as a business lawyer, international lawyer, and a litigator at Winne Banta Basralian & Kahn law firm.
Gary and Sheryl loved to travel, especially to Europe and through the United States following his favorite team - the UConn Huskies. Gary was named in the Best Lawyers of New Jersey for many years, including this past year. Through his illness, Gary continued to practice law until two days before his death.
A service at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in Boynton Beach, FL. Burial will follow at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens.
