GERALD KLIEMAN
Former Chicago resident Gerald H. Klieman, 79, passed away on July 10, 2020, in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Jerry was born December 31, 1940, in Chicago, IL, to Doreen and Edward Klieman.
He bravely served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War as a cryptograph operator and courier. In 1959, he returned to Chicago and met the love of his life, Sharon Etta Cohen. They married in 1963.
He was the proud father of two sons, Mark and Danny. Teaching his sons to cook, boat and travel were the joys of his life.
In 1973, he founded Kay Insurance Agency in Arlington Heights. He worked tirelessly to grow his business so that he could provide a beautiful life for Sharon and their children.
Upon retirement, he and his wife moved to the Tuscany Bay community in Boynton Beach, FL where they enjoyed over a decade of sunshine and developed a multitude of amazing friendships.
His infectious laugh and playful personality will be dearly missed by his sons Mark and Danny, his grandchildren Rachael, Ethan, Elliot, Adam, Noah and Julia, his brother Teddy, and many extended family and friends.
