Platzman, Gertrude, 92 passed away in Scottsdale, AZ. Beloved wife of the late Maurice, Loving mother of Paul ( Debbie ) Platzman, adored grandmother of Jason and Stacey. Services will be held Thursday, November 3, 2016, 2 PM at B Read Obituary
I loved spending time with Gert, usually at Paul and Debbie's house for wonderful Passover or Hanukkah dinners. Our birthdays were close so we often shared a delicious birthday cake. Gert was such a lovely sweet lady who will be greatly missed but remembered fondly. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. Marge Nelson
My sister, Marge, and I (and sometimes my husband, Alan) would meet Gert and Debbie for lunch every so often. Gert was always so happy to see us and loved hearing about what was new with us. She was a real storyteller, and I always enjoyed her stories of her life in New York City. Gert was truly a loved and loving woman.
