Gilbert Ogus' Obituary
Gilbert Ogus, 92, passed away on February 3,2025 in Boynton Beach, Florida. Gil was an award winning photographer that captured the beauty of the world through his lens. In addition to his artistic talents, Gil was an avid tennis player. His love for the game was unmatched, often stepping onto the court every single day. Gilbert was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Huntington, NY to raise his children before retiring and moving to Boynton Beach. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Pauline; sons, Michael (Patti) of East Northport, NY, Richard (Laura) of River Vale, NJ; Steven (Mary) of Carlsbad, CA and Dan also of Carlsbad, CA; loving grandchildren, Matthew, Tia, Katie, Nate, Max and Lizzie. A Chapel service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 2 pm at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel in Boynton Beach with a burial to follow at South Florida National Cemetery on February 11, 2025 at 10 am in Lane # 5.
