Hal Bernstein's Obituary
Hal David Bernstein, 65, of Miami Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 6, 2024.
Born in Manhattan, New York, he brought warmth every place he called home, including his years in Howard Beach, where he fostered lifelong friendships.
Beginning his educational journey at the University of South Florida, he found his professional path in sales, particularly at B & D Precision Tools and Arabel, Inc.
Hal took pleasure in connecting with clients and staying updated on their lives and families.
An avid sports enthusiast, he loved participating in running, basketball, tennis, and
paddleball, finding joy in Florida's year-round opportunities for outdoor activities. He was a Knicks and Jets fan and loved to talk about sports.
He'll be fondly remembered for his loyalty, compassion, and love for jazz music, evident in the artist’s and albums he cherished.
Hal’s kindness and empathy touched many lives, leaving behind a legacy of love and happiness. Hal is reunited in peace with his mother, Phyllis Bernstein. He is survived by his father, Judah Bernstein of Boca Raton, brother Jeffrey Bernstein (wife) Jennifer of New York, and former partner Elizabeth Barrie of Miami.
A visitation to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, May 13, at 1:45pm at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel 5808 W. Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach FL 33484.
