Hannah Worstadt's Obituary
Hannah ‘Ann’ Ferber Worstadt, born November 12, 1922 in Brooklyn, New
York, passed away on March 26th, 2020 at the age of 97 in Boynton Beach,
Florida. She was a devoted wife to the love of her life, the late Sidney Worstadt (who passed in 2011). While Sidney was serving overseas in the Army during WWII, she became a real-life 'Rosie the Riveter', working long days setting magneto points for war plane engines. ‘Nana’ as her grandchildren called her, was a remarkable woman. An avid baker, she was known for her made-fromscratch strawberry shortcakes and played a mean game of Mah Jongg. Hannah was the daughter of the late Oscar and Mollie (Rutzky) Ferber, and the sister of the late Arnold Ferber, the late Ruth (Irving ‘Sonny’) Frank and Doris (Jerry) Wolf. She is survived by her daughters, Dale Borris, Jody (Joe) Bleiberg, her son, Howard Worstadt, as well as nine grandchildren: Randi, Joshua, Kelli, Noah, Elijah, Ben, Dana, Ava, and Emma, as well as eight greatgrandchildren, five nieces and two nephews. Nana, may you Rest In Peace. We will love you always. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Beth Israel Memorial Chapel Boynton Beach, Fl. 561-732-3000
