Harriet A Feinberg's Obituary
Harriet Feinberg of Boynton Beach passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 24th. Harriet was born on October 11th, 1932 to Jack and Estelle Schaefer. She grew up in the Bronx, New York, had an adventurous spirit plus glamour and beauty beyond her years. When Harriet was 15 years old she met the love of her life, Sidney Feinberg at the local luncheonette. They dated for 3 years and were married on June 30th, 1951. Harriet graduated high school and attended City College majoring in business and accounting. Harriet worked for the East Ramapo School District, Spring Valley, NY in the 60’s and 70’s before moving to South Florida in 1976. Harriet and Sid started their business “Unique Advertising Specialties” in 1977 and grew this business to be one of the better known and respected in the ad specialty industry. Harriet served as Vice President of the Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce, and upon her retirement, volunteered at The Delray Medical Center for ten years. She was very active in the community of Lakeridge Greens and performed in many social clubs and events dancing and singing. Together, they raised three children Jill Blum (Gary) Lynne Weinstein (Jess) and Socky Feinberg. Harriet is survived by her loving and devoted husband Sid of almost 71 years plus family including their grandchildren Elissa Stall, Alyson Stall (Keegan) Brooke Juniper (Chris) Jordan Feinberg plus loving nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of dear friends. Harriet was predeceased by her grandson Joshua Feinberg. Services to be held on Thursday, May 26th at 1PM at Beth Israel Chapel, 11115 Jog Road, Boynton Beach, with Cryptside blessing immediately following at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, 111520 State Road 7 Boynton Beach. Shiva Will be observed Thursday May 26th from 4-7PM and Sunday, May 29th from 12-3PM at Sunrise of Boynton Beach assisted living 10605 South Jog Road, Boynton Beach. Masks are mandatory. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Trustbridge of Palm Beach County (Hospice) as their nurses and staff were exceptional in Harriet’s care.
