Harris Ebbin's Obituary
Harris Ebbin, 89, of Wycliffe Country Club in Wellington passed away Sunday September 15, 2019. Harris and his beloved wife Evelyn came to Florida from Brookville, LI, NY, first living in Boca Lago in Boca Raton. Harris was generous, kind, and possessed a keen sense of humor. Very family oriented, he was much loved by his family and all that knew him. In addition to Evelyn, his wife of 64 years, Harris was the devoted father of Debra (David) Davis, Susan (Robert) Mathias, and Carol (Keith) Grubman; the loving grandfather of Samantha, Joshua, Adam, Russell, Lindsey, Chase, Cole, Troy, and Cali; the adoring great grandfather of Annabel; and the dear brother of Dr. Allan (Audry) Ebbin and Naomi Franklin. Chapel services will be held at 12:15 PM Wednesday September 18, 2019 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, FL 33437 followed by interment in Eternal Light Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Boynton Beach. Harris’s nephew, Rabbi Ira Ebbin of Congregation Ohav Shalom in Merrick, NY will officiate.
