Ellen and Dave were the first friends we made as a married couple. They lived next door to us in our first apartment and when they bought their first house we soon followed - buying the house one door down from them. We have been dear, dear friends for 61 years and they both will be sorely missed.

Dave and his wife were an essential part of our mystery club. He was always willing to participate in what ever was planned. During the past winter I visited with him several times and we always reminisced on our most remembered escapades. I will never forget his pronunciation of
A M B U L A N C E with his Tennessee accent. It always brought a chuckle.
