In Loving Memory of Helen Heiman
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Stal Heiman, who passed away on July 29, 2026, at the age of 72, surrounded by the love of her family.
Helen was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for her warmth, unwavering strength, and fierce love for all the important people in her life. She had a remarkable ability to make those she loved feel welcome, cared for, and cherished. Her family and friends were the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Her kindness and generosity touched countless lives and will never be forgotten.
Helen is survived by her beloved husband, Donald Heiman; her children, Jessica (Jonathan) Freilich, Lauren (Beau Hirshfield) Heiman, and Joshua (Erica) Heiman; her cherished grandchildren, Alexandra, Isabelle, Olivia, Ava, Noa, and Miles; and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Rose and Morris Stal, who were both Holocaust survivors, and her brothers, Aaron and Samuel Stal.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 1:45 p.m. at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Road, Boynton Beach, Florida, followed by interment at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, 11520 State Road 7, Boynton Beach, Florida.
The family will be sitting shiva at 5850 Windsor Terrace, Boca Raton, Florida, on Friday, July 31; Sunday, August 2; and Monday, August 3, beginning each evening at 5:00 p.m.
Donations in her memory can be made to Yad Vashem or the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
