Helen Rothman's Obituary
Helen Rothman, 87, of Lake Worth, FL passed away Friday, June 2, 2023. She was born in the Bronx, New York and spent most of her life in the New York City area, before moving with her husband, Norman to Southeast Florida in 2006. Helen spent her life in partnership with her husband, Norman. Whether it was their drycleaning business, their Hallmark Card stores, their involvement in their synagogue in New York, or their retirement in Florida, Helen shared every moment she could with the love of her life. Her passion was fashion. Helen was always dressed impeccably, thanks to her love of shopping, and made sure to share this with her loved ones. Helen’s legacy of being a strong, independent woman lives on in her three granddaughters. But the joy of her life in the last few years was the continuation of her family through becoming a great-grandmother, and watching the children grow. Helen leaves her loving family; son Fred (Jodi) Rothman; cherished grandchildren Samantha (Robbie) Galbo, Lecia Rothman, and Alie Rothman; great grandchildren Brooks Galbo and Winnie Galbo; sister Mimi Marenberg, and brother Gerald (Eileen) Kaplan. Her beloved husband, Norman Rothman, and dear daughter, Jodie Rothman, pre-deceased her. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at 2:15pm at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Road, Boynton Beach, FL 33437.
