To the Roth Family,
One of the saddest feelings I have now is that none of you probably know who I am. My name is Lesley Shapiro Isenstein and I am a first cousin to Herbie. Bonnie, many years ago my husband and I met you at dinner at Bobby and Gloria Roth’s house. My dad (Sam Shapiro) and Ann Roth were siblings. I want to let you know that I loved Herbie as one of the warmest, kindest people I knew. Everything people said about him at the funeral service echoed my own feelings and memories of him. I want to send you all my sincere condolences and even though I have had no place in your lives, Herbie touched mine deeply.
One of my fondest memories was constantly being told , "Oh! You're Herbie's younger brother, Bobby.....
