Herbert Sussman's Obituary
Herbert “Herb” Sussman, 96 of Boca Raton Florida, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in the Boca Regional Hospital. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 1:30pm at Eternal Light in Del Ray, Florida.
Herb was born on October 23, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph and Frieda Sussman. He graduated from SUNY Oswego College. He was a WWII veteran. On May 24, 1964 he married Lenore Simowitz and they remained faithfully and happily married for 56 years. For 26 years, Herb was a High School Auto-Mechanics teacher in Brooklyn, NY. Herb led a full and robust life. He loved to dance, ski, travel and enjoy relaxing on the beach.
Herb is survived by his wife and two loving children, Michael Sussman of Boca Raton, Florida and Jessica Steinhart of Warren, NJ. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Jason Steinhart and two grandchildren, Alyssa and Aaron Steinhart.
