Howard Wolfson's Obituary
Howard David Wolfson, age 82, of Wynnewood, PA and Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Havertown, PA, November 13, 2024. He is survived by his loving family members: wife Linda (née Lipkin); sons Jeffrey and Adam (Dawn); grandchildren Arianna, Olivia, and Gabriel; and cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Born to kosher butchers Sadie z”l and Jack z”l, Howard grew up in Atlantic City and Margate City and went on to graduate from what was then Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. Generations of customers will fondly remember him as proprietor “Doc” at Howard’s Pharmacy in Penn Wynne, a longstanding Main Line establishment with Randy and later others working the fountain.
A graveside funeral will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 18 at Rodef Sholom Cemetery in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Shiva will be Monday Tuesday Wednesday 7:00-9:00 PM in the TV Room of the Greenhill Condominiums East Building 1001 City Ave. Wynnewood.
