Grant, Iris' Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of Iris Grant, at the age of 81 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert, and will be laid to rest next to him in Florida.
She will be remembered by her children, Marni Barnes (Roy Barnes III), Brian Grant (Andrea Tawil), and Rebecca Grant; her grandchildren: Roy Barnes IV, Paige Barnes, Tommy Barnes, Elizabeth Grant, and Piper Grant; her brothers: Marty Rosen (Raymond) and Eddie Rosen and her sister Marilyn Dano; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Iris always possessed an insatiable curiosity and a creative drive. Throughout her life, she was involved in artistic endeavors, from producing cable documentaries to running an independent craft business. Even in her blindness, she continued to paint and fashion jewelry for herself and her loved ones.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorial contributions to be made to Guiding Eyes
