Irving Aronson's Obituary
On February 25th, Irving Aronson, loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away at the age of 95.
Irving was born on January 20, 1928 in Dorchester, Massachusetts to Morris Aronson and May (Kaplan) Aronson. He was the devoted brother to Beatrice, Leonard, Sandra and Joel. Before graduating from Burdett College with a degree in accounting, Irving served in the US Navy for 2 years. On November 29th 1954, he married the love of his life, Shirley Levine. The newlyweds then settled in Sharon, Massachusetts and raised 3 sons, Gary, Lawrence and David.
Irving was a caring and dependable person always keeping a positive attitude. His favorite expression was “keep the faith.” He was loving, hard-working, and always the rock of his family. He and Shirley enjoyed together time including travel, business and lots of card games over their many years of blissful marriage.
In his retirement years, he and Shirley lived in Huntington Lakes, Delray Beach, Florida where he was very active in the Men’s Club and many other organizations
Irving is survived by his loving wife, Shirley, sons: Lawrence, David and his wife Christy; their children, Matthew and Katie. His son Gary (deceased) wife Silvia; their children Natalie and Liz, his daughter-in-law Donna and grandsons Michael, his wife Larissa; their children Ryan and Lucas and Scott, his wife Dayana; their children Brandon and Bradley.
A private memorial service will be held. Donations honoring his memory can be made to the American Heart Association.
