Irving Siegel's Obituary
On February 21st at the age of 92, Irving Siegel passed away peacefully in Miami after a short illness. He will be sorely missed by his wife Iris, with whom he would have celebrated 69 years in March, his children Sheryl and Steven, his grandchildren Nicole, Lauren, Max, Paul, Emily, Brandon, and his great grandson Nolan.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Irving served in the US Army during the Korean War, before opening a small luggage business, which he ran for most of his life. Twenty years ago, he retired with Iris to Boynton Beach where he enjoyed golf, bowling, and a good mystery novel in the sun. He loved nothing more than being surrounded by his family, teasing and being teased by his grandchildren, the Mets, a good Peter Luger steak, and a ripe Jersey tomato.
