DR. IRVING ZIEPER's Obituary
Dr. Irving Zieper of Greenacres, FL formerly of Quincy, MA passed peacefully on February 8. He was born on September 26, 1928 and lived to the age of 89.He is survived by his children Amy and Richard Sherman of Weston, FL, Michael Zieper of Santa Barbara, CA, Lauren and Jeffrey Harrison of Sudbury, MA, Laurence Zieper of Davie, FL and David and Polly Zieper of Weston, FL. Son of the late Jacob and Ellen Zieper. Survived by brother Sheldon and Irma Zieper and sister Harriet Thomas. Preceded in death by his loving wife Rissy. Proud grandparent of Geoffrey (Allison), Johanna (Matthew), Justin (Ashley), Marissa, Jackson, Sally, Alanna, Max, Noah, Zachary, Gabriel, Allison, Jacob, Mollie, Samara, Ben, and Avi Shai. Cherished grandfather of Rebecca, Sabrina, and Sara.
Graduating Boston College at age 18, he studied at Notre Dame, Yale University and University of Pennsylvania. He spent two years in the Air Force as a Captain and Flight Doctor before practicing at the Lemuel Shattuck and Faulkner Hospital. He dedicated his life to his family, his time to his patients and his thoughts to a better world. Shiva at the residence of Amy and Richard Sherman, 2715 Meadowood Dr., Weston, Fl. Friday immediately following the cemetery service, Saturday 7 pm – 9 pm, and Sunday 2 pm -4 pm and 6 pm – 9 pm. Shiva will continue at the residence of David and Polly Zieper, 1637 Eagle Bend, Weston, Fl Monday thru Wednesday 2 pm- 4 pm and 6 pm-9 pm.
