IRWIN ROBBINS's Obituary
Irwin Robbins, 91 years young, Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and Best Friend, died on November 30, 2020. He was a Veteran, Builder, Pilot, Sailor, Skier and Entrepreneur.
Irv is survived by his wife of 48 years, Beth Susan Robbins, his five children: Andy, Nancy, Lisa, Chris, and Jenn. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Robbins pursued a variety of hobbies. He was an avid sailor, skier and art collector. He enjoyed traveling the world. He sailed with his family throughout the Bahamian Islands, the Florida Keys, the Virgin Island, and the eastern Seaboard. He also spent 39 years living in Steamboat Springs, where he built several homes and skied until he was 86 years old. Most recently, he perfected his baking skills.
He was a very charitable and giving man. His favorite charity is JAFCO, where memorial contributions may be made. Those who knew him felt his warmth, love, generosity and kindness.
Irv Robbins’ was quick with a joke, light-hearted, and devoted to family and friends for which he will forever be remembered. We will all miss him very much!
