Irwin A Zamore's Obituary
Irwin A. Zamore, aged 85, passed away on December 13th, 2025 in Delray Beach, Florida.
Born on March 24th, 1940, Irwin dedicated his life to his family and his profession. He leaves behind a legacy as a committed and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. Irwin graduated from Wingate High School in 1957 and later earned a Bachelor's of Business Administration from the City College of New York in 1961.
He went on to establish a successful career as a CPA becoming a partner at Leipziger & Breskin in NYC where he was respected for his professionalism and integrity.
Beyond his professional life, Irwin was an avid backgammon and poker player, both recreationally and competitively. He cherished the annual family trips to Aruba, a tradition that continued for over 30 years, bringing joy and creating life long memories for everyone involved.
Irwin is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Zamore; his daughters, Rochelle Waldman and her husband Joshua, Lynda Kruman and her husband Jeffrey; his son Barry Zamore and his wife Amy; and his cherished grandchildren, Scott, Sydney, Alyssa, Zachary, Jessica, Corey, Max, and Andrew.
Irwin’s commitment to his family and his passions left an indelible mark on those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his dedication, love, and the warm memories he created with his family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel at 10:15am on Monday, December 15, 2025. 5808 West Atlantic Avenue Delray Beach, FL 33484.
Burial will Follow at 11:30am at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens
11520 State Road 7 Boynton Beach, FL 33473.
