Jack Greene
Age 92, of Boynton Beach, FL, passed away on January 2, 2021.
After graduating from Stuyvesant High School Jack served in the occupation in Tokyo working as a liaison between the U.S Government(MacArthur) and the Japanese government.
After the service he attended Syracuse University and graduated from the Empire School of Optics.
Immediately following graduation Jack and Bobbe were married and would have celebrated their 69th anniversary this year.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbe ; sons, Scott Greene and Stuart Greene; daughter, Jeryl Brown; grandchildren, Hailee, Theo Greene, Carly DiLeo , Elana Lopez, Benjamin Brown, Rachel Loebinger and Daniel Greene;
Great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Rafael, Nolan, Elliot, Aniyah, Ayden, and Kylee; and brother Joel Greene. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Rogenson.
Chapel services will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, January 5th at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel. Rabbi Joseph Fishof to officiate.
Mr. Greene will be laid to rest at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S. State Road 7 (441) Lake Worth Fl. 33449 on January 19th at 1 PM., Lane #3
Contributions may be made in his loving memory to either the American Diabetes Association or the Disabled Veterans - Wounded Warrior Project.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Road, Boynton Beach, FL 33437.
