Dear Stacy, Sabrina, Kelly, family and friends, how fortunate we have all been to have Jack Herman in our lives! What fun times, good times, great times, we each can recall with Jackie! It is those memories of him that will live forever! Jackie's commitment to his family and friends was Herculean! Jackie, like Hercules, was a champion! The tasks and deeds of life take that type of Herculean effort to prevail and enjoy some of the fruits of life..such as, his family, friends, success, love, peace and happiness. What you put out, you get back...Or as The Beatles wrote,"And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make." Jackie, created a whole lotta love!!! We are here because we love Jackie, who loved us all! I added my lament, my expression of grief here as well. Here it goes... I have the blues.😢 My soul is blue. Yesterday, I was told that my brother Jackie, has left the building...He was 82...Son, Brother, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Friend, Cousin, business owner, athlete, marathon runner, cyclist, inventor...There is so much more...Speaking with him in recent years, he said visiting his children and grand children were his greatest joy! He loved, the adventure in traveling to see them as well. From New York to Massachusetts to Oregon. This filled him with immense excitement and happiness every time! Candidly but, realistically, in life, he made people look fantastic! And, they loved him for that! He made people happy all the time. I had some good fun and some funny moments with Jackie. And, not enough. Therefore, I can only play the blues. I'm sure that if you listen closely to the skies, wherever you are, you will hear me. I'm going to scream and cry through my guitar to the heavens. Sounds of blue waves will blanket the universe...The sounds will be beautiful and they will be harsh..I will just let my emotions free. I will play to honor my brother Jackie and his family and for all of us....Jackie, I raise my glass to you on a job well, well done.
I'll see you on the next world....Love, Roy🌈
