Philip Shapiro
I'm very sorry to hear of Jackie's passing. My mother, Selma Kravit Shapiro was very fond of her back in the Brookline days when they spent many days at the beach at Nantasket. I am glad that I had a nice conversation with her a few years ago. Now there are only two cousins left from that generation, Paul Klapper and Barbara Stearns. Having lost my own mother last year, I have been experiencing profound grief. There is no grief so profound as when you lose your mom. It's very sad in many ways, but I wish I could tell my mom. She would have wanted to know about it and would have written her own condolence note. So I send my prayers and condolences from me and from her.Sincerely,Philip Shapiro
