Janet Brooks' Obituary
Janet Brooks, born in the Bronx, February 15, 1930,
was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, relative and friend to many.
Standing well under five feet she was petite, feisty, honest and powerful.
It was clear that from a young age that Janet had a natural talent for dance.
She studied and trained under notable teachers of her time.
And carried that love of dance with her throughout her life.
Participating in musical productions in her Boynton Beach community for
years and dancing however she could, at events that took place at her
Senior Living Community.
Janet always led a busy social life, with her hair and nails done,
she was active in Mah Jong games, Temple Bingo and Vegas nights,
attended shows and performances, and happy hours amongst many activities.
She was a gifted oil painter and participated in art shows in her
community. Also, an avid bowler, member of a bowling league, Cub Scout
Leader, and Realtor.
As well as, a long time knitter, of scarves, afghans, and sweaters.
Some of us lucky recipients may still have ours.
She was blessed with 95 years of life and will be very missed.
If you would like to make a donation to support a charity in the Arts,
we believe she would have liked that.
