Janet Lewitt's Obituary
Janet Lewitt (nee) Berman was born on June 4, 1931, in Brooklyn, NY to Fan and Abraham Berman.
She met her beloved high school sweetheart Richard at James Madison High School in Brooklyn and married soon after graduation. They started their family before moving to Long Island and eventually retiring to their home in The Fountains, West Palm Beach, FL where she embraced a life full of tennis, golf, music, and mahjong.
Janet is predeceased by the love of her life Richard and survived by her daughter Laurie, son Kenny, granddaughters Ashley, Katy (husband Albert) and Maya along with her 5 great-grandchildren Jayla, Jacari, Destiny, Julian and Olivia.
Janet lived an active, exciting life filled with love and hospitality. One of her all-time favorites was watching tennis matches and the US Olympics. Janet was a loving, feisty incredibly beautiful and charming woman and if you were at her home, you were fed and made to feel like a member of her family. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched. Her memory will be a blessing to all.
