Jason Maltz's Obituary
Jason Maltz, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away peacefully May 8, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family. His kindness, strength, and generosity touched everyone who knew him. He lived his life with compassion, humor, a quick wit, and unwavering love for his family and friends. From his upbringing in Boston to raising his family in Albany, Jason had a rare gift for making people feel cared for, welcomed, and loved everywhere he was. He adored his grandchildren beyond measure and found his greatest joy in spending time with his family. Whether sharing stories, laughter, or simply being together, his presence brought comfort and joy to those around him, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Jason is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda Maltz; his loving daughters, Dana Lurie and her husband Lewis Lurie, and Shari Gordon and her husband David Gordon. He was the cherished grandfather of Elan, Jordynn, Blake, and Bradley, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy and through whom his legacy and loving spirit lives on. Jason is also survived by his beloved brothers, Robert and his wife Judith, and Stanley and his wife Carolyn.
A memorial service celebrating Jason will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel Boynton Beach located at 11115 Jog Road, followed by interment at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens. Though our hearts feel broken, we find peace knowing he passed surrounded by love. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
