Jeanne L. Burnham's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jeanne L. Burnham announces her passing on December 15, 2025 in Delray Beach, Florida.
She was born on March 28, 1933 to Stella (Napierkoski) and John Mancini in Boston, MA. She was a graduate of Girls Latin High School and later went on to become President of her family business Bank Vault Service and Lock Company - no small feat by today's standards and even more impressive at the time.
An early retirement allowed Jeanne the opportunity to indulge her passion for ballroom dancing where not only did she accumulate numerous trophies for her grace on the dance floor, but also met and eventually married her second husband. As a devoted and loving grandmother, she seldom missed an opportunity to cheer on her grandsons on the baseball field. Those who were fortunate enough to know her often heard her ask, “what can I do to help?”, a question that captured her selfless spirit. She loved spending time in the kitchen (famous for her healthy dinners and decadent desserts), shopping (always armed with a surplus of coupons), playing cards (and seldom losing), and taking long walks with her dogs (often to go visit the horses).
She is survived by her daughter Eileen Scott (Michael) and her grandchildren Robert Higgins (Kelsey), Eric Higgins (Kaylee), Scott Higgins, Amanda Dolan (TJ), and John Dolan as well as her three great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, her daughter Cynthia Dolan, her brothers Richard Mancini (Carol) and Robert Mancini (Laura), her first husband Richard Burnham, and her second husband Sidney Klein.
Memorial services will be privately held. Donations in her honor can be made to
Cure Alzheimer’s (https://curealz.org/).
