My dear cousin Jeffrey was one of the first people I met in my life. Jeffrey's mom, my Aunt Jeanne, was my mother Roz's sister, and our families along with the Levins, were very close.
The Silverstones moved to Skokie to a new housing development at the time, Timber Ridge, while the two other sisters, Roz and Marion and families lived in Austin, on the west side of Chicago. It was a bit foreign going to Skokie which was so much newer and cleaner than the city. I always remember Thanksgiving at the Silverstones.
I had more correspondence after Jeffrey and Irene left the Washington D.C. area to move to South Florida. Jeff and I had phone calls and email exchanges. I enjoyed our communication very much.
I will miss my dear cousin Jeffrey, but will keep him close to my heart. I know what a loss this is to his Family, and I send my condolences to Irene, Terri, and Amy.
