Early in my career I had the pleasure of meeting Jerry and the joy of working with him at Exxon Central Services. His wife and my fiancée hit it off as well such that we all became very close friends. Jerry was my best man and has been remembered most for his memorable toast story about Cecil B DeMille. We most recently got to reconnect in Mar. ‘24. Just like “old times” we ate out together and then later played games. Such joy & love~
Jerry - A dear college buddy in Electrical Engineering Class '63, Brooklyn Polytechnic (now NYU). We went through 4 years figuring how to make things work in the electrical lab classes and pounding some obscure math equations into our heads.
We went to each other's wedding and kept in touch over the years visiting Jerry and Joyce visiting them in Cleveland while on our way to LA, and later in NJ and FL.
We went out to dinners and were friends for over 63 years.
Our most recent visit was in April, 2025.

My Father, Jerome Simon was a supportive and loving Dad to my brother Robert (dod 10/04/2016) and I (Shari).
My Father, Jerome Simon, had two children with my mother Joyce: Robert and Shari who he always made time to teach us new mathematics, encouraging us to study often and go beyond what our teachers expected of us, which meant doing both the even and odd number math problems!
My brother Robert and I learned the importance of being conscientious and always doing our best, never doing anything halfway, always following through, never giving up!
My father and mother would take us annually to watch a Yankees baseball game, we also went to see the Circus every year and a Broadway Show as we became more mature thanks to the Exxon Club my father had joined at work.
As a result of the wonderful experiences and education my brother Robert became a lawyer and married Stacey a beautiful Speech Therapist who always knows what to say. My nephew Blake had a common interested with my father talking about computer stuff.
I just want everyone to know my parents had two children, Robert and Shari Simon.
