I just found out about Jerry's passing from the JSB Alumni newsletter. I was so saddened to hear about it. I will always remember him as the singing mailman of Jamaica Savings Bank.

I consider myself very fortunate to have known JERRY,Bea,Florence and Judy,my whole life !Even at a very young age when our families were together,I could always see in JERRY'S eyes, the love he held for his three girls. His caring ways, his pride and his sense of humor were always present. It's customary at ones passing to expect family members and friends to say such wonderful things. It's even more customary for a good portion of those "wonderful things",to be exaggerated or even totally fabricated. There won't be any shortage of accolades today for Jerry, but someone would be hard pressed in everyway to overstate the goodness of this gentle man!IN my life as a husband & father,I triedto emulate two men.Jerry was one of them!My sympathies and love to all.
