My mom’s favorite color was blue. She had light blue beautiful eyes and she gave them to me. It just seemed appropriate to light a blue candle in her honor. I’ll miss my Mommy everyday. RIP my love and now you are reunited with my Daddy. the love of your life. You were the best mom and my best friend. For as long as I remember and before she came on to Dementia, Grandma partook in the Kings Point Players as one of the showgirls, dancers, singers, the whole 9 yards. Every year for times we also couldn’t attend, we would get a tape from the show and we would watch the show from the tape. Joan was very witty and humorous in certain skits. One of which was where she had a costume, neck down, looking like she was a young slim girl in a 2 piece bikini, that’s as far as I remember.
Another thing about her nature is her independence. Me and my mom lived up north in PA for 3 years (2016-19), during that time around 2018, Grandma came up to visit us, she went through check in, and checked out of the airport like it was nothing; she flew up and flew back down alone, no plus 1.
