Joan R Savitt's Obituary
Joan Resnick Savitt passed away at her home in Delray Beach, Florida at the age of 89. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Joan is survived by her daughters Marcy (Brian) Kessler and Robin (Andy) Kraus and her four grandsons Michael, Eric, Jason and Adam. She is pre deceased by her husband David. Joan grew up on Long Island and later lived in New York City and Fort Lee before moving to Florida. She is a graduate of Barnard College after first attending Skidmore. She was very passionate about many charities and was a past president of her Hadassh chapter. She loved golf, traveling, fine dining and most of all being with family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday 2/25 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel in Delray with burial immediately following at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach. Shiva will be from 2:30-5:00 at the Addison Reserve Clubhouse. To honor Joan, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or the Jewish National Fund.
