It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Joanne Ray Hamburger (April 14, 1936 – June 20, 2022). The Graveside Service will be held this Thursday, June 23, 2022, at 10:45 a.m. at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, 11520 FL-7, Boynton Beach, FL 33473 at Garden of Leah, Tract 64, 4211 – C.
The family and friends’ remembrance will be held immediately after the service at Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant, 9942 Clint Moore Road, Boca Raton, FL 33496, at noon.
Joanne is survived by her son Stephen Lawrence Hamburger and daughters Sandra Joan Hamburger and Linda Joyce Hamburger (Stephen Federico), and sister Dianne Mittenthal. Joanne was a beloved aunt to Drew Saperstein and Dana Zatman, Amy Cohen, Judith Burdick, Douglas Hamburger, Jimmy Howard, Patty Howard Heron, Billy Howard and Susan Howard. She was predeceased in death by her beloved husband Harry Hamburger, and parents Melba and Jack Lieber.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations may be made in Joanne’s name to the Jewish National Fund, National Jewish Memorial Wall or Trustbridge Hospice Foundation.
