Joseph Belets' Obituary
Joseph Belets, age 92, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2016 in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was formally of Ewing and Lawrenceville, NJ.
Joe was president of Samzie’s Uniforms from 1955 until his retirement in 2001. Joe transformed a small, local army/navy store into one of the largest uniform dealers in New Jersey.
In his spare time, Joe enjoyed playing tennis. He was also very active in the Knights of Pythias. He was the past chancellor of Fortitude Lodge and the recipient of their highest honor, Knight of the Golden Spur.
His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was the son of the late Esther and Meyer Belets and the brother of the late Lillian Aronson (Ace). Joe was predeceased by his wife, of 41 years, Pauline (Zelansky) Belets. He later married Nancy Rosenbaum and were married for 24 years, until her death. Joe is survived by a daughter, Maury Warren (Paul) and a son, Jeffrey Belets (Susie), grandchildren, Stacey, Dayna (Mike), Stefanie (Blaine), Courtney (Anthony) and four great-grandchildren, Parker, Macie, Bella and Emma. Joe was very close to Nancy’s family, Andi (Louis), Gwen (Allan), Stuart (Marie) and grandchildren, Emily, Eric, Derek and the late Devon Richbell.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017 at Orlands Ewing Memorial Chapel and Interment at Floral Park Cemetery, Deans, New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Adath Israel Synagogue.
