Joseph Morris Freeman's Obituary
Joseph Morris Freeman, age 93, of Valencia Shores in Lake Worth passed away Monday November 26, 2018. Joseph was known as a kind and gentle man possessing a keen wit and was loved by all. A proud veteran of WW II serving in the combat engineer Corp. Formerly of New City, NY, he came to Florida in 2005. Joseph was the beloved husband of Mona to whom had been married for 69 years; the devoted father of Dr. William (Laura) Freeman and MaryAnne (Steven) Klein; the loving grandfather of Dr. Helaina (David) Jaffe, Evan (Melissa) Klein, Elana Freeman, Samuel Freeman, Sarah Freeman, and Brianna Freeman; and proud great grandfather of Melech Jaffe. Chapel services will be held 1:45 PM Sunday December 2, 2018 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, FL 33437 followed by interment with military honors at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach. Those wishing to honor Joseph with a memorial contribution are asked to kindly consider the America Heart Association, 2300 Centrepark W Dr, West Palm Beach, FL 33409, www.heart.org. Shiva will be observed at the family residence in Valencia Shores, 9849 Casa Mar Drive, Lake Worth, FL 33467 immediately following services on Sunday and on Monday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
