Joy Herman's Obituary
It is with sad and heavy hearts that the family announces that Joy Herman 75 of Boynton Beach passed away on December 9, 2020. Her final days were spent surrounded by the family she loved and who loved her very much. She was preceded in death by her parents the late Bruno Herman and Esther (Cohen) Herman of Clifton, NJ.
Joy was the beloved wife of and is survived by her husband Harvey Dorpfeld. She is also survived by her sons Lee Dorpfeld and Stephen Le Vine ;her step-son Raymond Dorpfeld and his wife Sally (Daube) Dorpfeld and five grandchildren, Allyson, Erin, Kayla, Elise and Curtis.
Joy grew up in Clifton, NJ where she and Harvey met in 7th grade and they eventually spent 39 years of marriage. She and Harvey relocated to Florida to be closer to their children. In Florida, She reunited with many friends and family. She enjoyed playing Mahjong and Canasta, knitting and working on the social committee in her community.
