Julie Silverman's Obituary
Julie Silverman, 93, of Indian Spring in Boynton Beach passed away Monday June 25, 2018. Formerly of Long Island, Julie became a winter resident of Indian Spring in 1994, and a permanent resident beginning in 2005. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran and served in a unit that liberated the Dachau concentration camp. Julie was a successful entrepreneur that manufactured ladies intimate apparel. He leaves his beloved wife of 26 years, Paula; his devoted daughters Helene Silverman and Abbe Refvem; his loving grandchildren Olive, Rebecca, Sarah, and Charlie; his cherished great granddaughter Emery; and Paula’s loving children, Michael Meyers, Ronni Meyers, and the late Ian Meyers. Julie was married to his late wife Shirley Silverman for 39 years until her passing in 1990. Chapel services will be 9:45 AM Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, FL 33437 followed by burial with military honors at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
