Lawrence Eisen's Obituary
Lawrence Eisen, 77, of Boynton Beach FL, formerly of Hackensack, NJ died Sunday May 29 surrounded by his family. He received his BS and MEng. from Cornell University and MBA from NYU. An active member of the community in NJ, he was on the boards of Jewish Federation of NNJ and Jewish Family and Children’s Services of NNJ for over 40 years during which time served as president. For many years he was also on the board and served as president of Project Literacy of Greater Bergen County. A devoted member of Temple Beth El in Hackensack for 45 years, he served as treasurer for many years. After moving to Florida he became a vital part of the community at The Cascades and served on several committees and was treasurer of his village. He was also on the board and treasurer of Temple Beth Kodesh in Boynton Beach. An avid lover of music and opera he missed Lincoln Center, but had come to love attending concerts and opera at the Kravis Center. He is survived by his wife Marsha, children Susanne Brown, Andrew and Cheri Eisen, grandchildren Max, Sam, Zach and Reese and his sister Wendie Weisman of Los Gatos, CA.
