Leigh Gates' Obituary
Leigh Gates, 68, of Venetian Isles in Boynton Beach, Florida passed away Thursday September 1, 2016. Formerly of New Jersey, Leigh had lived here for the past five years. Leigh was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Searingtown, Long Island. Leigh is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Jane, and was the devoted father of Laurel S. Gates and the late Jeffrey Gates. He also leaves his brother-in-law Ed Pass. Chapel services will be held at 1PM on Friday September 2, 2016 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, Florida 33437 followed by interment in Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in Leigh’s memory are asked to consider the American Heart Association, 2300 Centrepark W Dr, West Palm Beach, FL 33409.
