Leon Avner age 98 of Delray Beach passed away on July 4th. Beloved husband of the late Pearl Avner; Loving father of Tobey Avner Nelson and the late Alan Avner and the late Frema Avner; Cherished grandfather of Matthew Avner Nelson; Dear brother of the late Hannah Kasztan. Dearest Dad, 98, passed away on this day! Brave survivor of the Holocaust, who with my Mom, lost everyone and a daughter. Courageous fighter in the underground, saving lives from the Nazis. Loving father-in-law and grandfather. Brilliant man of honor and ethics. Successful, generous American businessman. Thank you for all you’ve given us. Rest in peace with Mom, Alan, Frema, and Family. Graveside Service 3 pm Monday, July 8th at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, 11520 State Road 7, Boynton Beach, Fl 33473.
