95, of Boca Raton, FL, passed away on February 17, 2018. Survivors include his wife, Ellie Adelman; son, Gary Adelman; step-sons, Randy, Kenneth (Trudy), and Eric Hecht; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Adelman. He is also survived by many close friends. He was born and raised in Far Rockaway, Queens, NY. After serving in the Army, he attended City College of New York. He started his Real Estate business in Suffolk County, NY. Leonard not only took pride in his business, but truly relished the friends that he made during his time in business. Over the years, his Real Estate expertise and reputation led him to establish a well know Real Estate Firm. An avid tennis player. He and his son Gary were in the Guinness Book of Records for table tennis. Lenny, was a kind, gentle, sweet man with a good sense of humor. Ellie, loved him with all her heart. As with all who knew him. Chapel services will be held at 1:00 PM on February 19th at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 5808 W. Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33484 with Rabbi Marc Labowitz officiating. Mr. Adelman will be laid to rest following his funeral service at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, 11520 State Road 7, Boynton Beach, FL 33473. Contributions may be made in his loving memory to National Jewish Fund.
