Leonard B. Koll's Obituary
Leonard B. Koll, 87, of Delray Beach, Florida passed away June 8, 2020. Leonard is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Bonnie. He will be deeply missed by his children; Dini (Randy) Schild and Lorraine (Dennis) Udwin, and Evan (Sheri) Koll. Loving Grandfather to; Chelsea, Alex, Jackson (Julia), Sabrina, Alana, Perri (Jesse), Adam (Meredith), Nikki, and great-grandfather to Harrison.
Leonard had a strong affection for the Weequahic section of Newark, New Jersey, where he grew up. He went on to honorably serve in the military (Army) before meeting his bride and love of his life, Bonnie. Everything that made him happy was related to her. Together they traveled the world, and enjoyed their many friends and extended family.
In business, Leonard thrived and was the successful owner of a regional chain of meat markets. In later years he retired to Florida, where he was an avid golfer, devoted father, and attentive grandfather. "Poppy" never missed an opportunity to see his grandchildren at their school, attend a sporting or other event, or do a carpool run.
Leonard will be greatly missed. He will be laid to rest on Thursday, June 11th at 10:15am in a private service at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel in Delray Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Boca Raton Regional Hospital. https://donate.brrh.com/
