Lillian Cohen Goldman's Obituary
Lillian Cohen Goldman of The Carlisle in Lantana, FL, formerly of the Bronx and Spring Valley, NY, and Royal Palm Beach and Boynton Beach, FL, passed away on September 15, 2015 after spending Rosh Hashanah with her family. Lillian recently celebrated 70 years of marriage to her beloved husband Richard. The two married in March 1945 while Richie was stationed in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Lillian was famous for her beautifully knitted afghans which warmed generations of family and friends. She was a wonderful dancer and the matriarch of a fun-loving and close-knit family. Lillian is survived by her husband Richard, her children Alberta (Abbe), Stephen, Karen, and her cherished in-laws Richard and Celeste, and her two grandsons Karl and Jonathan Kaufman. Funeral services will be held at the Beth Israel Memorial Chapel at 11115 Jog Road in Boynton Beach 33437 on Friday, September 18 at 11 AM with interment to follow at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, Boynton Beach, FL.
